IT Consultant - Citrix, Virtualisation
£350 per day
Highly respected medium sized not for profit organisation seeks experienced IT Consultant to help formulate future IT Strategy and recommend short and long term improvements across a range of key IT areas within the business. This is a short term assignment with potential additional work as and when required in the fututre.
Ideally you will be operating on a freelance basis, or at a senior IT or Consultant level with extensive IT experience. Though a high level of technical knowledge is required, many of the areas that need to be covered are not necessarily that technical, but require an experienced and intelligent opinion.
The purpose of the assignment is to be able to help produce a validated report that can be given to senior management in order to get approval for such work.
It is not essential you are an expert in all the following but the key technologies and areas to be looked at and discussed include Citrix, Virtualisation, Windows, Exchange, SQL/Exchange Virtualisation, Comms, SQL,Back-up, Disaster Recovery, MPLS, Storage, Digital, Anti-Virus, Network optimisation, Sharepoint, CRM amongst others.
