We are looking for a Java/SQL contract developer who is interested in working in one of the most interesting parts of one of the world's largest banks. The successful candidate should have advanced Java and SQL skills and experience in Object Oriented Programming and Test Driven Development.
This exciting role is well suited to strong developers with a keen interest in investment banking. It offers opportunities to learn about technologies used in banking and the opportunity to work with and learn from technologists who are experienced in delivering successful large scale solutions.
The successful candidate will be working on a high profile project, developing a system that has a global reach (24x7), processing high value, high volume transactions in Real Time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Skills/Experience
- Degree/Masters or equivalent experience
- Considerable post qualification technical work experience
- Good communication skills
- Experience in Banking/Finance businesses a plus
- Experience in Agile development methodologies a plus
