Finance Analyst: Corporate Reporting: World-Leading Oil & Gas Company

World Leading Global Energy Oil Company has an exciting opportunity for a Finance Analyst to join a team of around 30 Finance professionals spread across small teams of five and to work within the Corporate Reporting team for this prestigious Oil & Gas company in their headquarters located in Waterloo.

This is a fairly new team and everyone is motivated to perform well, a self-starter willing to take ownership and responsibility and to really make the role what it is for the benefit of both your own individual career progression and for the benefit of the team and the company. There are areas of processes that can be continually improved upon and you should be keen and enthusiastic to positively contribute in the development of new initiatives that will provide added value.

This role has long-term potential and you need to be ACA or CA qualified with a couple of years of post-qualification experience, ideally gained from one of the Big Four accounting companies. Previous experience within the Oil & Gas sector is not essential but you do need good solid corporate experience.

This role will involve analysing the costs of the Corporate Services, analysis of the cashflow and the variances within this and looking at the FX differences and the expenses. You will also be involved in the quarterly results and comparing these against the estimates and helping with the Operating Plan for the Corporate Reporting team and various other ad hoc projects as needed.

This role stretches across the whole Group of Companies for this Fortune 500 company so you need a strong background and plenty of initiative and enthusiasm.

This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.

We believe in equality of opportunity for all job applicants regardless of gender, marital status, race, colour, nationality, ethnic origin, creed or religion, disability, sexual orientation or age.
