OpenROAD Developer, Contract, Dublin City Centre
Vantage Resources are looking for an experienced OpenROAD developer to work on their client site in Dublin city centre
The ideal candidate will have a number of years experience with Windows-based OpenROAD applications and UNIX-based Cobol services.
This is an excellent opportunity to work in a large-scale modern structured IT department with the possibility of long term extensions.
Duties would include
System enhancements to improve performance
Develop Trace Monitor to visually track data progress between OpenROAD and Cobol.
Experience of backup and recovery
Some Cobol Experience
Experience with SQL
Knowledge of Unix Scripts for batch processing
Strong team working skills
