My client a leading technology consultancy based are seeking an experienced Senior User Interface developer for a contract position at our development office in Cork. The successful candidate for this role will have a minimum of 3 years commercial experience implementing high traffic web applications with dynamic UI.

- 3+ years experience implementing high traffic web applications with dynamic UI.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript,AJAX, JQuery and other
- Experience implementing Front End components optimized for speed and cross-browser compatibility.
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript programming patterns, such as client-side MVC, dynamic resource loading, JSONP, event-driven programming, etc.
- Programming experiences in languages other than JavaScript (Java is preferred)
- Extensive experience converting visual designs to HTML, with an acute eye for detail and design fidelity
- Experience of several frameworks, such as YUI, CSS Grid (960, 1140), jQueryMobile, Event.js, Node.js
- Ability to draft and communicate UI design concepts
- Familiarity with mobile web development on iOS/Android devices and Responsive Web Design
- Knowledge of popular social media plugins, such as Facebook and Twitter, along with their relevant APIs
- A portfolio showcasing a track record of creating strong HTML/CSS/JS interactive solutions
