OSS Engineer - OSSCR, ENIQ - Djibouti - 3 months +
My client a leading multinational telecommunication organization is urgently seeking experienced OSS Engineers to compliment their existing team.
To be considered for this OSS Engineers role you must have the following skills and experience:
- Experience on OSS RC maintenance, administration and Network Element integration.
- Experience and Good knowledge of ENIQ, Statistics and KPI reports
- Preventive maintenance activities ( health checks, perform/verify backups )
- Fault handling and corrective actions
- Investigate and troubleshoot the problems related to OSS&ENIQ
- Follow up with support for CSR
- Participate in project activities, implementing/adapting (new) E2E service functionalities.
- Verify and implement operation configuration changes
- Transfer knowledge to NOC colleagues
- OSS Upgrade experience
- Review vendor technical documents and new provide proposals on OSS
- Excellent knowledge in Shell programming
- Strong technical knowledge on: Sun Solaris, Oracle, Sun FIRE platforms, Unix, Sybase SQL server, Versant DB, TCP/IP, SNMP, LDAP protocols & OSS applications
