My client is an award winning financial software company based in central Boston and is seeking a senior DBA. The company design and develop software products that they implement into large international financial services firms such as hedge funds, banks, and asset management firms.The position will involve supporting, maintaining and performance tuning the company's products that utilise a SQL Server backend database as the engine for their applications. The senior DBA will also provide proposals and solutions for existing and new products on how to design the database back end.
Deep understanding of SQL Code and scripting standards is key as well as creating disaster recovery plans involving experience in implementing Clusters, Replication Mirroring etc.
