Systems Analyst - SDMS

This position closes at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 10th, 2013.

This is a 12 month contract opportunity.

Our Client requires an expert in business and systems analysis and design skills for the Safety Data Management System (SDMS) in UEP (Utilities and Environmental Protection) Department.

Our client has a need for a skilled analyst to assist the business in analysing and translating the SDMS Functional Requirements data into Technical and Functional Specifications so that a Request for Proposal (RFP) can be issued for solution procurement, as well as participate in the downstream evaluation of the proposal alternatives.

Required Skills
• Must be a skilled analyst with minimum 5 years' experience.
• Must be able to gather requirements and translate those into functional specifications.
• Strong Interpersonal skills to work with business units.
• Assertive, yet persuasive.
• Ability and willingness to work with many groups.
• Willingness to work within the guidelines of Information Technology.
• Must have experience with RFP (Request For Proposal) preparation and evaluation.

Desired Skills:
• Business analyst experience
• Previous work experience with Municipal, Government Organizations or equivalent endeavors.
