Quality Assurance Support Engineer - Banking - Luxembourg

One of the leading banks based in Luxembourg is urgently searching for an additional suport engineer to join their Test Competence Center Team ASAP.

Role:

*Measure the quality of the software and provide information about quality and risk, based on agreed timing, budget and acceptance criteria.

*Improving code quality by verifying that the code is written with respect of the BNP Paribas Group quality guidelines

As part of the Test Competence Center - Software Quality team, you will be in charge of maintaining and supporting the current solutions used to provide their users with code quality reviews. This will include software's and processes.

Following features are to be considered:

* User support

* Requirements management

* Source control

* Automated build

* Produce code metrics and use as gate-condition for deployment

* Reporting on software quality

Language:

The team is French so fluency in French is mandatory. Dutch and English fluency would also be beneficial.

Technical Skills:

Experience:

You have an experience in Service Operations of 1-3 years.

You have a first experience in Application Support.

You are familiar with the Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Fisheye, Crucible), Jenkins, Nexus, Subversion.

Mandatory:

You have good communication skills.

You have an interest in the field of code quality improvement.

You have a critical mind.

Preferable:

You have a first experience in the field of code quality.

You have used Sonar for code analysis.

On top of the above:

You are good at coaching and guiding people and you are good at communicating with people in a constructive way.

You must be eager to learn, evolve, and be creative in finding solutions.
