Enterprise Software Trainer - Portuguese/English Bilingual

Summary:
Work remotely and travel as necessary for this client recently named to Forbes list of "America's Most Promising Companies." This is 6 month+ contract with intent to keep consultant long term! Candidate will deliver customized training for clients on existing SaaS solution with emphasis on role of employee as it relates to the solution and employee's job role. The position involves presenting customized Train-the-Trainer training solutions, which address our clients' business processes and work stream. Responsible for training our client's trainers and end users to successfully prepare class participants to deliver the solution to their employees with confidence.
All candidates must complete the standard courses, become certified to deliver training on our solution and must have academic or corporate training experience. Candidates also should attend subsequent train-the-trainer courses for new product releases. Our program does not train professionals on how to teach, rather we focus on preparing our trainers to deliver professional quality training on our solution at a high-level of technical accuracy, using our content and methods. Must be able to travel up to 75%. Travel comes in waves - 3 weeks in a row then, come home on weekends if it's stateside, not international) and then you'll be home 4-5 weeks.
Responsibilities:
- Assess client training needs, plan, and manage training delivery. Work with project team to determine customer's deployment.
- Responsible for researching, writing, editing and gathering content for training, including producing and updating client training materials.
- Prepare training materials, setup training environments, and conduct Train-the-Trainer courses.
- Conduct client TTT sessions on site and assist in the development, upgrade and maintenance of courseware.
- Deliver training courses and materials in client's local language as required.
- Effectively deliver training while teaming with a translator when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Strong meeting, communication, and presentation skills in both the classroom and web-based delivery of training.
- Bilingual in Portuguese is a must. Spanish, French, is a plus; strong written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills in both languages.
- Commitment to learn and practice the material oneself with a proven track record of working independently as well as in teams to meet deadlines while maintaining quality.

- Experience with developing instructor-led, web based, and self-learning training materials, hands-on exercises, and certification examinations.
- Professional demeanor.

- Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in training and development in software solutions.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education, Computer Science, or equivalent.
- Project management skills and experience training in Latin America a plus.
