Description
Position Description:
- Act as Test Engineer for testing multiple projects and releases
- Involved in requirement reviews, test planning, test case development, test case execution, and test reports for both manual and automated testing.
- Work on defect reproduction, defect report, defect validations, defect analysis and release notes
- Communicate and update product quality and risks to product groups and stake holders
- Apply and create best practices, processes to deliver high quality product in time
- Use development skills to create, update and maintain automation solutions
Required Skills:
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related areas with analytical background.
- 3-5 years of experience working in software QA in manual and automation testing.
- Exposure to enterprise level automation tools ( ie Selenium, QTP, etc.)
- 3+ years of database testing experience
- 3+ years of testing multi-tier web application ( experience in retail or financial application preferred )
- 3+ years of web service testing experience (WSDL, etc.)
- 3+ years of experience with XML, HTML, SQL
- Experience with continuous integration testing and solutions
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (this includes excellent listening skills, concise communication, and targeting the message to specific audiences)
- Detail oriented excellent organization skills and ability to effectively multitask in a dynamic and fast paced work environment
