Good Food Jobs seeks a web / graphic designer to help us efficiently implement some upcoming projects.
This is currently a freelance position.
ABOUT US
Good Food Jobs (http://goodfoodjobs.com) is the first online job search engine devoted to connecting people looking for meaningful food work with the organizations that need their energy, enthusiasm, and intellect. Since our launch in October 2010 we've posted almost 8,000 jobs, collected over 34,000 registered users, and created a central meeting location for people who care about the food that they eat, and the work that they do. At any given time we have over 750 active jobs on our website, and grow steadily every day.
ABOUT THE POSITION
We are looking for someone to help us freshen up the GFJ design and keep our content looking current. We have far more ideas than hours in the day to implement them, and are looking for the help of a trained web / graphic designer to help us refine and build more elements for our online platforms.

- You have experience in web and mobile design, and consider yourself an expert on the best looking and most effective strategies for interactive platforms
- You are down with the ethos of GFJ and appreciate our design - but have ideas about how to make it even better.
- You are creative, think outside of the box, and above all - don't believe in selling out to support your cause; you know that there is always another (and most likely a better) way
- You have a personality, and you show it
- Desired but not required: your hand illustration skills are outstanding and you have experience in or are excited by the possibility of integrating them with digital designs
