Job Role: Senior Hardware Engineer

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Senior Hardware Engineer needed to join a market leading company based inNottingham at the main R&D centre. You will be joining a company who pride themselves in being ethical and heavily invest within their staff. You will also have the opportunity should you wish to travel worldwide. You will be involved in developing the electrical architecture required to support complex automotive control systems. You will also manage the verification and validation of controllers, sensors and actuators with external suppliers.
Ideally you will have the following experience:-

- Have a BSc or equivalent in automotive, electrical, mechanical or control engineering

- 5 years commercial experience

- Background in automotive, aerospace or the rail industry,

- Thorough understanding of control systems, sensors, actuators, and electrical systems
both theoretical and practical

- Sound knowledge of vehicle communication networks eg LIN,CAN,FlexRay

- Strong project management skills within a team environment

- Good knowledge of Matlab/Simulink

- Exposure of HiL System
