Unique 12 months rolling Contract
Java/Java web services, SCRUM, Big data exposure - up to €60/hour

We are seeking an experienced Senior QA project manager with a technical/development background, who will work on the major internationally acclaimed project and help managing a team of software engineers in order to extend a local team that is working on a high-availability web service. This is a unique opportunity to work in the fast developing company on the cutting-edge technology project on the long-term contract basis - a truly unique opportunity!
The project manager we are looking for will be expected to fully manage a sub contract team against the plan, check the work output for quality and scope and have exceptionally strong project management skills within agile/scrum environment as well as the keen eye for the detail. The candidate will also be in full charge of coordinating communication between the teams so excellent English and communication skills are of paramount importance for this role.
Regular reporting of both quality and planning will be an important aspect of the job, all being conducted within the SCRUM framework-so previous working experience within the agile/SCRUM is essential! Quality control is the focus - we need managers who are positively anal about attention to detail!
The project manager will be capable of going to a technical level to check any software related issues as well as installing and testing software and being involved in the end-to-end testing so technical experience in Java/Java web services, J2EE, Spring 3, REST, JSON, XML, Maven, Javascript is highly desirable for this unique opportunity.
The candidate must have skills and experience in the following areas:
- Extensive and deep experience in managing projects
- Senior QA skills
- Agile/SCRUM exposure
- Project management skills
- Strong experience with continuous integration
- Excellent unit and system testing skills
- Experience with version control systems (git, github)
- Development experience in the following:
- Java EE
- Spring 3
- Technologies: REST, JSON, XML, Maven
- Javascript

- The ability to work independently and pro-actively
- Big data exposure
- A strong quality mindset, combined with a pragmatic attitude
