Web Content Manager

In this position your knowledge of structured web publishing, databases, and web development will be put to the test as you help manage the process for migrating web content and assets to our Employee Portal. You'll collaborate with user experience, technology, and business
clients in a role that's both strategic and hands-on. A focus on proving high levels of customer service in both written and verbal communication is crucial.
Perform web content inventories and analyses using a combination of automated tools and manual processes
Develop a process and toolset for authoring new content in scope for automated migration
Develop and refine tools and processes to prepare existing content and assets for automated migration
Lead the content production process
Troubleshoot and solve issues that surface during migration
Ensure that migrated content and metadata is complete and correct
Participate in CMS development plans to ensure that the solution design remains migration friendly
Participates in other projects as needed that require content transformation or migration expertise

Provide Front End support to users and business partners of our portal community.
Provide Front End support to users and business partners to Confluence wiki accounts.
Provide day-to-day operational support to the suite of applications hosted by IWC which are web based products.
Where applicable, help with testing and certification efforts related to portal and wiki clients.

Required Skills
At least 5 years of experience developing web content
. At least 1-2 years with ETL tools (like Vamosa or Informatica), including data crawling and data extraction functionality, and especially working with transformation tools like Kapow Katalyst,
At least 3 years working with a structured content publishing system or web CMS.
Practical experience with content/data migration projects highly desired.
Proven skill managing content projects, priorities, and workload
Ability to evangelize and socialize content standards and processes to stakeholders
Experience with Scripting languages and technologies (ie, Kapow software)
Experience writing regular expressions

Desired skills
Experience as web content manager/admin for portal type environment. Experience with IBM Portal 7 a plus. Teamsite experience also a plus.
Experience as web content manager/admin of departmental wikis. Experience with Confluence Wiki a plus.
Familiarity with product life cycle of web content products, from dev to implementation.
Language requirement - CSS, HTML and wiki markup. Java knowledge/experience a plus.
Previous operations experience supporting web type applications a must.
Must be able to provide off-hours support as needed for product releases and/or emergency situations like production outages.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required. HS Diploma Required.
