Description
Responsibilities:- Identify, design, and develop test protocols and/or test fixtures and process improvements for electrical systems and sub-systems
- Develop test requirements and processes, design fixtures, execute test plans, and analyze data
- Prepare summary and test reports to review with team members
- Participate as an Extended Core Team member on reviews and meetings
- Communicate cross-functionally with team members and across organization
- Product improvement through DFx, DFM, or related
- Conduct problem solving and root cause failure analysis through 8D or 6Sigma processes
- Troubleshoot to component level product defects in PCAs and electrical systems
- Able to automate process as needed through software or electrical changes
- Perform validation and verification as required
- Functional lead for electronic test operation within mfg
- Able to develop work instructions, train, and support mfg operators on released processes and procedures
- Collaborate with Contract Manufacturers with outsourcing functions to assure successful product transfer
- Provide DFx and test recommendations to CMs on electrical components (PCAs, systems, and sub-systems)
- Participate in MRB reviews and provide evaluation and disposition of electro-mechanical components and sub-assemblies
Skills - B.S. in Electrical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years test engineering experience
- Experience in manufacturing environment (7-10+ years), ISO13485
