I have an urgent Contract Hardware Design Engineer requirement within a Global leading Defence Engineering Company.
My client is looking for a Contract Hardware Design Engineer to develop, design and support electronic assemblies
The suitable candidate will have these responsibilities:
*Design and development of electronic circuitry (Analogue, digital, Microprocessor, FPGA design techniques)
*Electronic circuit simulation and analysis
*Schematic capture and associated PCB layouts
*Testing and evaluation of electronic circuits and components.
*Preparation of FMEA'S and design validation documentation
*Ability to provide technical documentation
Required skills:
*Proven Experience in digital and analogue Electronics design
*Microprocessor Design and Interfaces, both digital and analogue
*Proven Experience of Schematic Capture and PCB Layout
*EMC Awareness at product and PCB level
*Formal Test Planning
The roles require these skills; therefore experience in these areas will be advantage
*Experience of using Altium Designer for schematic capture and PCB layout a
*JTAG design and programming knowledge.
It is important that the ideal candidate has a proven track record of working in a structured development process environment with a formal qualification.
