Description
Quanta are partnering the world`s largest biopharmaceutical organisation in the world, which has its headquarters based in Belgium.They have recently approved a number of large investments for site IT upgrades; to lead these projects they require an IT Infrastructure Coordinator.
The IT Infrastructure coordinator will be responsible for the execution of a number of IT Infrastructure related projects working in a validated manufacturing environment.
Reporting and under the guidance of the IT site head, the IT Infrastructure coordinator will carry out agreed activities and provide support where necessary in an efficient and timely manner to ensure successful completion of the program.
Job Functions
1.The site coordinator will execute on site activities in support of multiple IT projects in a manufacturing environment.
2.Provide Support for Automation activities related to such projects over the duration of the contract.
3.Execute Problem determination/solving routines and fix problems in PC Client space related to the projects in execution.
4.Perform re-engineering tasks to fix issues related to some specific project technologies.
5.Provide ``coordination and hands and eyes support`` to install network devices, antennas, Siemens antennas, WiFi devices, Industrial printers, PLC, Office Printers, PCs
6.Work closely with the IT site head and report back any deviation in respect to the weekly schedule.
Experience
Deep knowledge and experience of Microsoft Operating Systems (XP, Windows 7) and MS productivity suite.
Experience providing technical support in Automation activities; including automation equipment, network protocols; Industrial and PLC networks.
Networking troubleshooting and support knowledge
Excellent Microsoft office Skills
Proven project delivery track record with attention to detail and an ability to prioritize effectively
Flexibility, Teamwork and cooperation with multiple team leaders
Fluent English, Written English capabilities to create reports, minutes and How to guide.
Previous work experience in a Corporation with IT infrastructure responsibilities
Additional Skills that would be an advantage:
Knowledge of Siemens PBX and DECT Phone technology
Experience supporting manufacturing printing such as label printers and diverse manufacturing equipment connected to a PANS Network
