Our client, a market leader in the renewable energy industry who Design, Construct and Maintain offshore wind farms, are exponentially increasing their activities and are for this reason looking for experienced project planners.

Responsibilities
1.Prepare and maintain the Time Management Plan
2.Perform planning of project phases, scenarios and detailed time planning
3.Follow-up on progress and reporting
4.Support regarding quality assurance of supplier time schedules

Reporting to Planner Programme Director / EPC director / Project Development Manager

Role Overall role Key responsibilities & tasks Responsible for planning management and coordination within the EPC project

Key decision powers

-Decide how planning and scheduling is to be handled in the asset project following agreement with the Senior Management team

Qualifications (Recommended)

-BSc, MSc or other relevant degree. Competence equivalent PMI-SP (PMI Scheduling Professional) and Primavera P6 experience
-Recommended 5 years of relevant work experience within wind and/or construction
-Recommended 5 years of experience from similar position
-Recommended 5 years of experience working in project matrix organisation

Tasks
-Establish the Time Management Plan and planning strategy for the project. Calibrate the process to the needs of the project (considering project objectives and current project phase)
-Prepare the Time Schedule Assumption Book.
-Support the project organisation in the preparation and maintenance of the time schedule in accordance with agreed targets for the current phase.
-Perform scenario analysis and analyse frontloading possibilities in order to identify the planning flexibility and required decision points
-Assess the influence of proposed changes on the time schedule and project milestones to the extent necessary
-Keep the project organisation informed and secure ownership of revisions and changes to the time schedules
-Align the planned resources with the project schedule and update according to guidelines.
-Report and document the planning scenarios incl. required assumptions according to targets
-Collect progress data and prepare an overall progress plan at agreed intervals
-Make sure that the right requirements for the suppliers` planning and progress reporting are included in the tender documents
-Assist the project organisation in the preparation of tender time schedules with built-in project milestones for employer/external supplies
-Review suppliers` time schedules and ensure that they comply with the overall construction time schedule.
-Ensure that relevant planning-related experience is documented, shared and communicated to relevant parts of the organisation

Ideally you will take up this position in Denmark to join the team in the clients HQ, there is however the possibility to take up the post in either the UK or Germany
