Core Java Lead Developer, Investment Bank, London, PermanentA large tier 1 investment bank are looking for an experienced Core Java Development Lead, to sit within an automated trading systems team within FX.
You will be responsible for managing a team of Java Developers, liaising with the business and IT, ensuring effective communication and driving delivery.
This automated trading system is used across asset class, to support low latency algorithmic trading and pricing for the business areas, within which the core team, develop shared areas of the system. This is a high-profile role, where you will be involved in trajectory for future business direction, liaise with IT and the business across asset class.
You must demonstrate excellent low latency, server side, multi-threaded core java skills.
The role offers the chance to join an extremely successful development team, offering the successful candidate to be as business facing as they choose to be.
The role involves being technically hands-on to the technical build out of solutions, whilst also mentoring and maintaining development standards. Successful candidate will be involved in the full software development lifecycle, and will be working in a team of exceptional technologists.
