Are you an experienced CAE Analyst? Do you have experience working in diesel exhaust emissions???A global automotive OEM based in the West Midlands requires a CAE Analyst to work on s a long term contract based at their Gaydon Site. The role is offering a pay rate of £30.19 Ltd Co per hour.
As an Aftertreatment CAE Analysis you will be leading the development and delivery of cost effective emissions aftertreatment systems enabling diesel engines to meet the ever tightening legislative tailpipe emissions standards.
You should have some of the following skills and experiences:
* Experienced with CAE tools for the simulation of emissions control and aftertreatment.
* Knowledge and experience of diesel aftertreatment component and system functions and development
* Knowledge and experience of diesel emissions and OBD requirements and testing (engine test-bed and vehicle)
* Knowledge and experience of powertrain system development and testing
* Ideally a degree in an appropriate technical discipline (e.g. chemical engineering, engineering, chemistry)
* Calibration of models for the various elements of an aftertreatment system (catalysts, filters, exhaust systems etc.) using appropriate experimental data.
* Simulation and validation methods / test procedures required for the robust deployment of aftertreatment components.
* Documentation of methodology and results from aftertreatment projects as technical reports.
