Do you have experience working in automotive restraints? Have you got safety component knowledge?A leading Automotive OEM based in Dunton Essex require a Safety Restraints Engineer to work on a long term contract basis offering a rate of £20.84 Ltd Co
Safety Restraints Component Engineer is responsible for developing restraint systems for a major Commercial vehicle program. For this position a good understanding of Restraints components and their contribution to occupant protection performance is required along with:
* Familiarity with the use of CAE predictive tools.
* Knowledge of legal and public domain requirements relating to Occupant Protection
* Component engineering experience in automotive Restraints/ Safety.
* Experience in Occupant Analysis, vehicle and sled testing/ sensor calibration would be ideal but not required.
* Degree qualified - BEng (Hons). Applicants with HNC/HND would also be considered if they have significant relevant Restraints experience.

* Long term contract initially to December 2013 looked at being renewed yearly
* Pay rate of £20.84 ltd Co per hour
