UNIX System Administrator - Jacksonville, FL
Mansion House Consulting are a highly successful and rapidly expanding Technology and Business Transformation Consultancy specialising in the Investment Banking, Corporate Banking, Asset/Fund Management and Wealth Management sectors. We currently have offices in London, New York, Frankfurt, Amsterdam and Singapore.
We urgently require an experienced UNIX system administrator to be based in Jacksonville FL, to join a core infrastructure team. To be successful you will need to demonstrate experience of Solaris V9 & 10 - particularly the full Veritas Suite (including Volume Manager and Clustering etc) and SAN storage (in particular EMC). This role would suit a Systems Administrator with excellent attention to detail gained within the financial service sector ie Banking, Insurance or other fast paced environment.
To be successful you must be able to demonstrate extensive experience of:
Solaris 10 (and earlier releases)
Linux (SUSE, VMware)
Korn Shell Scripting
EMC San technologies (RDF, DMX, Symmetric Unix Command set)
Oracle & Sybase
HDS storage technologies
AIX Administration skills
Due to the nature of this work, the successful consultant will be expected to provide out of hours support for production systems helping to keep critical systems available 24/7 and within SLA.
