Job Description
*Escalated incident, problem, change management
*Performing Oncall support after office hours
*Co-ordination with other teams on need basis
*Documentation and creation of knowledge base and procedures/workpacks
*participate in Project implementation/meetings
*perform Complex troubleshooting and co-ordination
*Follow-up of performance and capacity issues
*Interaction with HW/SW vendors
*Datacenter visits
*Perform/co-ordinate weekend/out-of-office hours interventions

*Expert knowledge on HP x86, Sun x86, Sun SPARC, Sun T-series hardware
*Expertise on High end Sun Platform E25k,M
*Solaris OS 8,9,10 administration
*Virtualization - zones,LDOM,Domains
*Expertise on Veritas vxvm,vxfs,ZFS,SVM
*Expertise on Veritas Cluster with GCO
*Server installs/upgrades - Liveupgrade, Jumpstart
*Perl and Shell Scripting
*Sun Directory directory server (LDAP)
*LDAP naming services
*Teamquest performance monitoring
*NFS,autofs,sambaBIND DNS,Sendmail
*SAN concepts
*Solaris administration expertise in complex environment with multivendor SAN storage.
