Voor een directe eindklant in Utrecht is Harvey Nash op zoek naar een WebSphere System Manager.
Functiebeschrijving:
Certifications:
IBM Tivoli Directory Server (TDS) and IBM WebSphere Application Server 7 or 8 (WAS) certified.
Main Duties:
* Develop and write maintenance/life cycle management and disaster recovery procedures for TDS.
* Deploy (new) applications (.WAR and .EAR files) in de WebSphere 7.0 Console.
* Resolve incidents in the OTAP environment for WebSphere.
* Prepare/adjust/plan changes for WebSphere and if needed in relation of surrounding infra (Wintel, network, Firewall etc.)
* Perform checks, including PCI-DSS health checks and assignments, logfiles, monitoring (like PRTG, SCOM and IPsoft).
* Implement fixes/approved changes (security, PCI-DSS) WebSphere updates, (fixpacks) and business releases for OTAP
* Maintain our service (our applications in WebSphere) answer to customer if needed. (feedback improvement proposels, technical questions, feedback etc )
* Contribute, support on new projects involving WebSphere, install, configure WebSphere 7 environment on new Servers deploy new clusters and application Servers for WebSphere 7.
* Document deviations on standards (SOP) and document new standards (SOP) for applications, releases etc. if needed.
* Contribute to internal improvement on all ITIL processes
* Configure properties in WebSphere if needed for applications.
Knock out criteria:
Education: Bachelor level (HBO). Certifications: IBM Tivoli Directory Server (TDS) and IBM WebSphere Application Server 7 or 8 (WAS) certified.
At least 4 years of experience in development and managing Websphere* In depth knowledge of IBM Tivoli Directory Server (on Microsoft Windows) in a replicated environment
Good IBM WebSphere Application Server knowledge to support deployments on our current environment* ITIL knowledge to support ITIL Capacity management for our WebSphere environment
Preferable some engineering skills, F5 loadbalancer knowledge, network knowledge* Microsoft windows knowledge
Knowledge of internal LDAP schemes for larger organizations is a must
