BRILLIANT OPPORTUNITY FOR A CONTROL APPLICATION ENGINEER IN HEATHROW!!!!Proteus Europe operating as an employment business, is currently seeking a Control Application Engineer to work in Heathrow, London on a permanent basis. My client, a leading manufacturer in audio / visual systems is looking for a Control Application Engineer. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, assisting in installation and operation of PC applications with customers over the phone. These applications configure hardware products either through a serial (Rs232) or network (TCP/IP) interfaces to control audio / visual equipment. Therefore the client is looking for the following candidate profile:
- Windows Operating Systems (registry, dlls, accounts)
- Good knowledge of practical networking area (TCP/IP, Ethernet, IP Addresses, Subnet masks, Routers, Gateways)
- Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and XML
- Basic knowledge of communication protocols like Rs232 / Rs422 / Infrared
- Knowledge of audio / visual system integration is highly advantageous
