This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Payroll Team leader to join a top company based in Milton Keynes.

The Payroll Team Leader is responsible for the delivery of payroll services by providing extensive payroll expertise, excellent customer service, and liaising with third party suppliers; as well as managing a team of Payroll Administrators.

As Payroll Team Leader your responsibilities will include the following:

-Ensure the accurate execution of all transactions within the team are processed in accordance with service standards and procedures, taking corrective action where necessary.
-Handle complex payroll queries both manually and within the PeopleSoft system.
-Escalate exceptions/queries in a timely and appropriate manner to the Payroll Manager as required.
-Calculate manual payments, accruals, and reconcile payroll related General Ledger accounts.
-Prepare and reconcile payment summaries.
-Manage day-to-day resources to ensure there is always sufficient cover in the team.
-Maintain appropriate mechanisms to continually monitor quality, efficiency and productivity within the payroll team
