IT Infrastructure, Korean speaker, Comms Rooms, Servers, VLANs, ITIL.We are urgently seeking an Infrastructure Service Manager to work in Chertsey.The main responsibility of the role is to provide IT Infrastructure management and support to our client for various sites within the UK. Responsible for the local IT Infrastructure in each of the managed offices. (Comms Rooms, LAN, Servers, PCs, Printing & IPT)
Responsible for the IT service delivery on each site ensuring sufficient staff resources are in each location.
Managing the Team Leaders, direct reports and all the activities within the department
Ensuring the IT standards are followed for each office.
Updating the processes and procedures according to the company or customer's requirements.
Ensuring KPIs and SLAs are met and providing regular reports to senior management.
Managing multiple projects ensuring they are completed on time.
Customer liaison to determine their IT requirements and dealing with customer complaints This is a managerial role with some technical duties required. EDUCATION:
Degree (BSC Hons) or equivalent experience
SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Attained a professional qualification such as ITIL, MCSE or CCNA
Practical knowledge of Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, AD, DNS, VLANs, Firewalls, VMware, Security systems and Comms Rooms
Configuration and administration of the Service Desk system
Strong leadership skills for staff management and development
Good understanding of ITIL and implementing best practice
Excellent customer service skills
Able to take responsibility without direct supervision
Effective time management and personal organisation skills
Resourceful and innovative to provide solutions for customers
Well spoken and presented with excellent document writing skills.
Liase with Korean and Europe customers. Therefore, the ability to speak and write in fluent Korean and English is essential.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2 years in a management role, preferably with some direct reports in a different location.
Minimum 2 years of Infrastructure support experience incorporating Comms Rooms, servers and VLANs.
Minimum 2 years of customer service experience and relationship management.HOURS OF WORK:
37.5 hour week. Some weekend and evening work may be required for emergencies and projects. Regular visits to the remote offices will be required.
