Systems development engineer - £35,000 - £40,000

The Client:

My client specialise in development of products for information services across multiple platforms and devices. They cater to a global market and have a strong presence .Software development in C/C++ for new products or new product features. Maintenance/enhancement of existing software products.

The role:

From day one , you will be analyse the needs and requirements of customers in conjunction of the Support and Sales teams and assisting with the development of new and existing software modules in and individual or a team environment. Within this role you shall be resolving issues with existing modules and systems though using existing frameworks. You will have the ability to investigate new technologies and continually improve methods within the team with a particular focus on framework and product improvement

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience in the following

Experience:
  • Visual Studio )
  • Embedded C/C++


Beneficial:
  • Preferably Borland experience (2010
  • C#
  • Technical understanding of written languages (e.g. Cyrillic, Arabic, Pictographic)
  • Interest/understanding of video/audio media.
  • Web interfaces/Web development.
  • Experience of systems operational .
  • Windows Embedded.

Education:

A successful candidate is likely to be qualified to Degree level in Engineering/Electronics/Software or related discipline.

Personal characteristics

You will be able to work effectively as a part of a team, demonstrating that you can build relationships with internal and external customers, You shall posses a high attention to detail and be able to meet tight deadlines without compromising on quality. The ability to work autonomously and manage your own time and project schedules will come naturally to you.
