Description
An exciting vacancy has opened up for an experienced Embedded Software Engineer to work for one of the Big hitters in Innovating Technology.To be considered for this role candidates must have a proven track record, working in embedded software and system, preferably to safety standard MISRA.
Experience with at least two different architecture from 8, 16 and 32 bit processors would be advantageous as well as Embedded RTOS. You will be working with different tool sets including Keil, Eclipse and GCC. Knowledge of ARM/CortexMO/ M33/ M4 Microcontrollers would be advantageous . You will have also used source control ideally Subversion.
Excellent knowledge of:
- Embedded C/C++ and assembler
- Coding standards for embedded systems (ideally including MISRA)
- Hardware and software interfaces
- The use of electronic test equipment, including logic analysers and oscilloscopes
- Embedded software design and testing techniques
- Serial communication protocols (CAN, I2C, USART
Must be able to:
- Design a complete embedded application without supervision
- Diagnose faults within embedded electronic hardware systems
