QA/Database Test Engineer - RDBMS, Oracle, SQL Server - San Francisco - $50 - $95 per hour - 3 months +
An outstanding new opportunity to join a real industry leader in a key QA/Test position. This role offers a rate of $50 - $95 per hour, initially for 3 months this is likely to extend multiple time.
This employer supply technology, services and data which is used by billions of consumers worldwide, they are the market leader by a significant margin in their field and they are continuing to bring on board new clients and revenue streams. Due to this growth in work load they are now looking to recruit and experienced Tester/QA Engineer to lead a the testing of a number of their database solutions and reference platforms.
Applicants must have commercial/professional QA/quality assurance/software testing experience with specific experience of testing RDBMS solutions based on either Oracle 11g (pref.) or SQL Server. Applicants should also have strong SQL and PL/SQL programming and debugging skills as well as experience with Scripting languages such as Perl or Ruby. Additional exposure to XML, XSLT, and automated test tools would be beneficial. Applicants looking to achieve the upper end of the rates stated must also have leadership experience and be capable to managing a small testing team.
