Graduate Geoscientist
My client is currently seeking a Graduate in Geoscience for a Technical Analyst role in their London offices. The role will be an initial 6 month with a strong possibility of it leading to a permanent role. The ideal candidate will be articulate and numerate with a Geoscience Degree or related subject. GIS experience would be a distinct advantage.
Duties for the role will include researching European oil company activity and resources populating and maintaining databases, assisting in writing intelligence reports and undertaking analytical work. There may be some travel to client sites.
In addition you will be involved in some of the following activities:
Creating technical descriptions
Updating prospects
Well reports
Research request handling
Populating drilling results
Analytical and dataroom tasks
GIS Support
Collate a library of technical asset images
Build a network of industry contacts
Accompany analysts to meetings
Participate in consultancy projects
