SKILLS: C++ Developer, Low Latency, Execution Management System, Intel, Boost, STL, Connecticut, New YorkLow latency C++ developer required for a leading hedge fund based in New York City. The purpose of the role is to build an entirely new low-latency execution management system from the group up. Experience working with high frequency, low latency systems is ideal, alternatively, someone who has played a key role in developing an Order Management System would be of great interest. You must be a hands-on developer.
The ideal candidate will have the technical ability to be able to make a noticeable difference from day one. No financial experience is required, and my client is also very interested in candidates from telecoms, gaming or defence, as well as finance. This position has an immediate start.
KEY SKILLS FOR THE C++ DEVELOPER (LOW LATENCY, EXECUTION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM, EMS)
- Exceptional C++ developer
- Extensive experience building low latency high performance systems
- Previous experience developing execution management systems is desirable
- Boost, STL, Multithreaded development
- Red Hat Linux
- Knowledge of Intel architecture
- Excellent team player
- Good communication skills
