SaaS Project implementation Manager

1. Location:

a. Amsterdam, Netherlands

2. Roles:

a. Project Manager

3. Key Responsibilities

a. Manage and lead the project team and recruit project staff and consultants, where necessary.

b. Facilitate scope definition including functionality and technology.

c. Facilitate project plan development to set expectations for deliverables and schedule.

d. Detailed project planning and control including:

e. Develop and maintain a detailed work plan.

f. Manage project deliverables in line with the project plan.

g. Record and manage project issues and escalate where necessary.

h. Resolve cross-functional issues at project level.

i. Manage project scope and change control and escalate issues where necessary.

j. Monitor project progress and performance.

k. Provide status reports to the project sponsor BPO, SME and other relevant parties

l. Liaison with, and update progress to, project steering board, BPO, SME and other relevant parties

m. Manage project evaluation and dissemination activities.

n. Coordinate phase sign-offs.

  • o. Work closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs

p. Identify business requirements/workflows and consult on best practices/specific country needs for solution requirements and configuration

q. Prepare for implementation kick off meetings and lead the process

r. Prepare and conduct user acceptance and go live training via classroom and online methods

4. Skill-Sets Required

a. Master's degree

b. Good knowledge en experience with project management and implementation; experience in working within a diverse team of professionals;

c. Consultative and process improvement skills;

d. 5-7 years of experience (not necessarily in HR);

e. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with good presentations skills; excellent command of English language;

f. Client relationship focused, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting, and completion of planned deliverables

g. Demonstrated analytical and problem solving skills;

h. Knowledge and proficiency of PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Must have SaaS implementation experience preferably in HR

i. Experienced in needs analysis, requirements definition, design, fit-gap and any other systems integration type of responsibilities (not just an end user).

j. Ability to lead multiple implementations simultaneously and deliver sound, working and satisfactory solutions on time and on budget

5. Buy Rate: Need to understand market rates prior to proposition to customer
