Mid-level System Admin Linux - HFT -ChicagoFor one of my clients in HFT, I am looking for a mid-level linux engineer with strong scripting skills in Python to help this firm expand their trading operations. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, solving issues, and performance tuning of the cutting-edge Linux systems. You will be working with various teams in the organization on several IT projects aimed at optimizing the IT environment.
Your profile:
- BSc/MSc in Computing Science or equivalent is a must
- Between 3-7 years of Linux sys admin experience, in the Finance industry
- Strong automation through scripting skills - Python is a must
- Knowledge of Windows systems as well as general Networking protocols
- SQL experience
- Ability to work under pressure
- You are well-organized and pay attention to detail
- You are energetic, enthusiastic, and eager to expand your technical knowledge
