Strong troubleshooting skills for resolving various performance issues and tuning.

Expert-level knowledge of database design, implementation, transaction processing, referential integrity, performance tuning and monitoring with an emphasis in MS SQL.

Strong experience with replication, clustering, Always On, mirroring and log shipping.

Ability to write and troubleshoot SQL code (stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes and constrains).

Hands-on knowledge of database backup and recovery methods and tools (SQL native, Oracle RMAN, Idera, etc.).

Experience with SSIS and SSRS.

MySQL, PostgreSQL and Oracle experience is a plus
