ENOVIA/DELMIA/CATIA V6 VPM Support Engineer, Dubai, Contract
My client is looking for a Support Engineer to look after the Enovia VPM database for the project they have with a major aerospace client of theirs in Dubai. You will need good experience of using this system as well as Oracle or DB2 UNIX SGBD Servers where this application will be placed. The design software that will be used to make the product list will be CATIA V6, so any experience of implementing this within the VPM database is very important to the role. DELMIA experience is also crucial.
The successful candidate will be able to train and advise others that are not as proficient, as well as being adept at solving problems or issues as they arise to enable smooth and continued operation of the system. If you have any experience of performing this role within the aerospace industry then you will be at an advantage to other candidates as your skills will be directly applicable.
The most important factor with this role is the sedentary nature of the placement. You will be in Dubai for 12-24 months and there is no set rotation, although you will be able to return to the UK based on work load and when can be agreed by the client. This also means that you will not pay tax on your earnings which will mean a far greater rate than could be achieved in the UK.
