A large scale Life Insurer with a base in Bristol is currently seeking a specialist Life Accountant to join them on a six month project
The Interim Life Accountant will be responsible for a fundamental part of the monthly reporting process across all of the group:
* Investigate the posting of actuarial reserves by the Actuaries through to information posted into the ledger
* Accounting models and inputs into Hyperion.
* Reviewing the process by which investment returns are posted and allocated across funds.
* Process improvement and design
Candidates with a short notice period are preferable. They should be happy to work in Bristol and MUST come from a life insurance background. The role is a hands on role with very little supervision and would suit a candidate happy to role their sleeves up. The pay rate for this role is up to £400 per day.
