Market Connectivity & Trading Applications Support Analyst - NYSE - MAG's - ECN - UNIX - Exchange Connectivity - Contract - London.
To provide front support for Front Office Applications Including NYSE MAG's, RTS RTD & Exchange trading systems. To conduct small scaled development & maintenance work around the assigned systems.
Since the systems involved are integrated with out pricing and post trade systems the candidate must have an understanding of the entire trade flow process and STP
Key Responsibilities:
*Migration implementation onto NYSE MAG's (project) including ensuring the team are fully trained to be able to support it
*Support, maintenance and administration of the current RTD system.
*Support and administration of the Exchange connectivity to LSE Group & Euronext (cash & Liffe)
*Liaise with other IT Teams & Business users (London, Frankfurt etc) and with external vendors & brokers
*Fault logging, reporting and management
*Status and issue reporting to group lead and/or release cluster/project manager
*Configuration and testing of assigned systems
*Writing scripts/programs for system monitoring/maintenance
You will require the following skills/experience:
*3+ years Equities and derivatives business support experience
*Excellent knowledge of
oVarious equity electronic exchanges/ECN's (eg LSE, Euronext, Reuters etc)
oReuters Triarch/RDMS, Bloomberg MPF
oScripting skills (Perl and Shell)
*A proven track record in platform management (ie implementation, configuration and support)
*Operating systems - UNIX, Windows and Linux
*Business knowledge of the equity and equity derivatives areas
*Understanding of FIX desirable
*Previous background in development is beneficial
