Mobile payments, product documentation and trainer

Our global client at the forefront of payments technology has an exciting documentation and training opportunity within their product development team. You will be working on cutting-edge, emerging, and maturing mobile payments products. You will gain an in-depth knowledge of the latest product functionality to create internal and external facing documentation and training materials. Deliverables will include high level overviews, consumer journeys, training and presentations, and detailed product descriptions.

As the successful candidate, you will have:

  • A background in payments and/or mobile industries. You will have worked for one or more of the following types of companies: Card provider; payments; mobile operator; banking if within a cards/payments area.
  • A background in business analysis, consulting, product development, documentation/technical authoring, system design, or similar.
  • Experience producing product level documentation and training material at varying levels of detail.
  • A keen interest in, and an aptitude for learning emerging mobile payments technologies.
  • The ability to gather, understand and communicate complex information, producing clear and concise product documentation.
  • The ability to create and deliver training presentations.
  • The ability to translate between business and technical detail, and explain technical detail at a business level.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite, including Visio.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with reviewing and editorial skills.

The role is based in London. The contract is for 6 months to start (extension likely).
