My Client based in Brussels is an international company leader in his sector.

The applicant will join the mechanics group and will report to the manager responsible for the mechanical, electro-mechanical development.
Mission:
- We are looking for a mechanical, electro-Mechanical Engineer with experience in product design & development, validation & verification and in assisting in testing of components and final products.
- S/he will be active in an environment where different areas touch eg electronics, mechanics, security, design, and polymer technology etcetera.
- S/he will be involved in the different phases of product development and will have to lead it through design decisions in order to come to an optimal compromise in terms of product flexibility, cost and producibility.
- S/he will have to assure a traceability of these decisions and assure a sufficient level of quality.
- S/he will have to look for the different components (connectors, displays, ..) that are required to build the product.
Profile:
- You have an engineering degree in Mechanics or Electro-Mechanics with a broad field of interest.
- You have a good knowledge of: plastics, moulding, mould making, regulations, FMEA, DFA, DFM, ...
- You are experienced in environmental testing such as shock, drop, vibration, impact, temperature, humidity....
- You know how to handle and to follow-up new product development on design and technological level.
- You have a good knowledge of or a strong interest in electronics.
- You are able to work at a sufficient level of abstraction.
- You have an analytical mind with an eye for detail.
- You are creative and accountable and a real team player
- Your work is thorough and organized, with hands-on mentality
- You are fluent in French or Dutch, and in English
