Micro Focus/Cobol Developer/Analyst/Eclipse/CVS/SVN
Daily tasks:
Participate in the identification of developments to be made on the basis of functional specification documents, as well as adaptations to be made to the existing components and modules and their encryptions.
Prepare specifications documents prior technical work to be done
Carry out various developments in Java technology and implementations of scheduled tasks using the scheduler
Perform unit testing of developments
Assisting the project team during the phases of integration testing, certification testing and acceptance testing
Participate in the preparation and the effective production of various deliverables
Participate in production support
Technical Skills:
Good knowledge of Cobol and Oracle technology. Desired knowledge on Eclipse, CVS and SVN.
Knowledge Platform Micro Focus and Java would be a plus.
Organizational skills:
Estimated development costs, deadlines, identification of technical, development and unit test plans.
Ability to adapt to the norms and standards development and take ownership.
Documentation of the work.
Behavioural Competencies:
Ability to cooperate with the project and non-project resources, and coordinate cross tasks.
Ability to synthesize a rich and varied information
