Our client is a major company in Utrecht, looking to expand their testing department. we are looking for Dutch speaking candidates to join them on a 6 month initial contract, but for a project due to last over a year.
Essential Skills:
*Min 5 years' relevant knowledge and experience with Java6 and higher
*J2EE/Weblogic
*Agile
*Design Patterns
*Oracle SQL (highly preferred)
General preferred:
*Oracle 11 databases
*Eclipse
*IBM Jazz tool suite, especially IBM Rational Team Concert, Rational Quality Management and RequisitePro
*Framework MyBatis, JRebel, Eclipse RCP
Certifications:
Oracle Certified Programmer for Java 2 Platform
Oracle Certified Business Component Developer for J2EE
Role:
The Senior Software Developer (SSD) is responsible for translating use cases and non-functional requirements into working software. This should happen within the framework given by the architect and/or lead developer (eg technical designs and programming guidelines). The SSD will also carry out programming testing and maintenance on the application, including fixing software errors and implementing software quality improvements.
Tasks:
1.Implementing software components, which have been defined in the Design Model, according to the programming guidelines
2.Translating use cases and non-functional requirements to implementation independent Analysis Classes and implementation specific Design Classes and Subsystems
3.Monitoring and improving software quality
4.Determine activities to be carried out
5.Analyse and carry out solutions based upon software findings
6.Analyse and solving performance problems
