Manufacturing Team Leader

A major Biopharmaceutical / Pharmaceutical organisation requires a Manufacturing Team Leader to join the team based in the North West. The role will involve managing a high performing team, which executes the strategic plan to consistently deliver high quality products/services in a compliant, efficient and cost effective manner, whilst continuously driving step-change improvements.

The Role:
*Become a process or functional expert and serve as a technical or functional lead
*Ensure the consistent attainment of company standards within cGMP, HR, HSE, Finance & compliance
*Development and performance management of team members to business standards and deadlines is a key focus of this position
*Drive technical/functional problem-solving
*Establish standards and resourcing requirements to meet production or service provision needs
*Drive continuous improvement through IQP methodologies to reduce operating costs and/or increase value for money
*Scheduling production/services activities, as well as co-coordinating equipment/systems/process maintenance and validation

Experience:
*Relevant degree discipline or equivalent experience (Manufacturing: Engineering/Scientific degree)
*Significant post-graduate manufacturing/production or support function experience in high-speed aseptic/bulk pharmaceuticals and egg processing would be preferable
*Manufacturing/Quality - Demonstrated knowledge of cGMP and FDA/MHRA requirements
*Previous experience of developing and maintaining team members` development/training programmes and standard operating procedures
*Previous experience of Continuous improvement (IQP Silver preferable)
