A proprietary trading firm is actively seeking a Senior Windows Engineer for a 6-month contract position in downtownChicago. The role requires a Senior Engineer with advanced scripting knowledge and a high level of engineering experience to develop and support the firms Windows, Virtualization and Storage infrastructure.The firm's infrastructure team has developed a need for the Senior Engineer to be able to immediately step into a leadership position while the company restructures its organization.
The responsibilities of this position will include:
- Work in an Active Directory environment
- Work in a Exchange 2010, Good Technology and Blackberry messaging environment
- Work with SAN based EMC technology
- Design and maintain Windows and VMware environment
- Automate back-office administration
- Work heavily with several Scripting Languages
- Provide 2nd and 3rd tier support
- Train and coach Level 1 and Level II employees
Ideal candidates will have previous experience with PowerShell and VB Script. As well as MCITP, MCC and VCP and/or EMC certification.
