A global provider of enterprise software / simulation software is urgently seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager. The ideal candidate has at least 7 years senior product in Product Marketing for a large enterprise software company, Commercial understanding of product management and development

As a Senior Product Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for guiding the outbound marketing activities for your products. You will craft the messaging and positioning for products. You'll work with marketing to conceive and develop innovative marketing programs that drive demand. Attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into benefits is crucial. In your role as a Product Marketing Manager you will be the expert in buyers, how they buy and their buying criteria and will transfer that knowledge to the sales channel.

Responsibilities:
  • Maximising sales and profitability throughout product lifecycle
  • Analyse the complete market opportunity for the product
  • Identify target markets
    • Industry
    • Company profile
    • Buyer
    • Influencers
    • Work with Marketing to develop promotions and product services to encourage the growth of the installed base and new customers
    • Help define product and commercial validation for new and updated products
    • Develop Market Requirements Documents to validate potential new Development investment
    • Develop the proposition to suit current and new industries
    • Define the positioning of the Simulation Technology solutions
    • Develop competitive positioning
    • Works with Marketing, Sales, Customer Support, Training, Release management and Professional Services to ensure successful product launch
    • Monitor and report on customer usage behaviour, from service take up, ongoing usage and churn drivers
    • Work with marketing to develop sales tools, collateral and demand generation programs
    • Works with sales to define pricing and set forecasts


Skills and Experience:
  • At least seven years experience in Product Marketing for a large enterprise software company.
  • Experience of marketing to businesses
  • Commercial understanding of product management and development
  • Preferably have experience of marketing CAD or CAE tools
  • Able to formulate plans and persuade others to support such plans.
  • Works well with sales and marketing
  • Imaginative.
  • Customer oriented.
  • Strong organisational and project management skills.
  • Strong strategic and operational skills
  • Strong commercial understanding


For the right candidate there is a competitive package available. The basic salary is negotiable from £55k-£65k plus bonus, car package and benefits. This is an urgent position and the right candidate can start ASAP. Location is also very important with the right candidate needed to be based at their Nottingham office. We may consider flexibility on the person spending 3 days a week minimum in the office and two days at home.
