Emagine consulting is looking for a Web Snr. Developer, for our client a SW house specializing in enhanced functionality and usability for Airline booking websites. Their objective is to create best in class user experience for PC, Mobile and Tablet users. This new division has a start-up mentality. It is looking for individuals with the passion, desire and creativity to innovate and deliver. Also who have the flexible to work with a small team and take on a variety of tasks and responsibilities. The team needs somebody with a strong focus and high attention to detail on Front End web development with a solid understanding of PHP, HTML, JavaScript and CSS. A good knowledge of booking systems is important and the ideal person will have knowledge of Travel systems SW such as Amadeus eRetail, WDS and XHTML, Datalex, Google ITA or Similar.
Key Skills:
Highly proficient in writing good quality object-oriented code using PHP, JavaScript and Ruby-
Strong HTML, AJAX, XHTML, HTTP and XML-
Experience with XSLT, HTML 5 and JQuery-
Skilled with styling and apply design to web pages using CSS including CSS3 techniques-
Relational databases (MS SQL Server)- Experience implementing cross-browser solutions-
Strong Java Server Side knowledge-
Unix (Linux), Windows, OSX-
Web services (eg RESTful services), including the ability to programmatically interact with data formats -
Agile development practices (TDD & BDD).
Some French language skills would be helpful. The company is based in an attractive part of the South of France; however some home working is an option. The initial contract is for a minimum of 3 months with very good extension prospects and the opportunity to join and share in the company's growth.
