My client seek a talented UX Designer to join their growing UX Practice. This company are a company whom give UX the respect it deserves.
The Job
You'll join their growing UX team to create complex interactive experiences for web, mobile, tablet and desktop interfaces. You'll work as part of a multidisciplinary team to establish design direction for products and communicate those standards effectively in style guides. You'll also work to rapidly prototype product ideas within a lab to demonstrate new systems as part of their research and development efforts.
Skills:
- Experienced: You have at least five years experience in the design of interactive media and hold a degree in graphic design or a related discipline.
- Talented: Your portfolio is a showcase of diverse projects across interactive media that has obvious flair, attention to detail and stylistic breadth. Your designs will show a deep understanding of visual hierarchy, branding, type and infographics.
- Proficient with standard tools: You have mastered standard web and graphic design tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash.
- You get UX: You understand the benefits of user centred design and are comfortable working alongside user experience professionals in the design process. You can translate a wireframe into a stunning visual design without being too constrained by the framework design the wireframe represents.
- Communicator: You are comfortable making complex design decisions clear and understandable to non-designers. When you explain your work, people are persuaded and understand why the design is as it is.
- Technology savvy: You have a solid knowledge of web and mobile technologies and a clear understanding of how design comps translate into working code.
