About the Company/Position:
Play a critical role in a Major Infrastructure project for a high profile Company. You will provide end to end design and implementation for the new Virtual Infrastructure Environment. This will require a highly specialised VMware professional with an appreciation for Network, Backup and Server technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Architect and projects team to translate detailed designs
- Help with implementation and configuration of virtualised Infrastructure using VMware.
- Help lead a Project and technical team in the implementation of new VMware Infrastructure
- High level support - if required
Required Skills:
- Highly specialised in VMware ESX and related infrastructure
- Strong background in other Infrastructure technologies (Windows, Linux, Backup, Networking)
- Expert experience with VMware products (VSphere, VCentre, VMView, VCloud Director)
- Scripting Skills (Perl, VB..)
- VMware certifications - VCP - Minimum
