Embedded software development in C/C++ Active participation in: Sprint planning meetings Team User Story definition and estimation sessions Sprint review Team retrospectives Working with developers and testers to ensure all tasks are done by the end of each sprint Problem solving with electrical and mechanical engineers Consistently demonstrate continuous improvement ideology Ideal Candidate:Ability to write clear, functional, efficient, well-structured code in a block structured language preferably C/C++. Experience working with smaller resource limited 16bit and 32bit micro-controllers (e.g. C166 family, PIC family). Ability to read and understand electrical circuit diagrams. Ability to prove operation of completed systems using a range of test equipment including 'scopes, loggers and unit-test tools. Experience of electro-mechanical systems, preferably motor drives and particularly stepper motor drives Ability to work as part of a development team and willingness to learn and adapt Previous Agile experience, ideally with SCRUM. Experience of automated testing techniques. Unit testing and acceptance testing. Excellent attention to detail Good communicator both verbally & in writing Quick thinker Good planning & estimating skills Desire to build quality in from inception Desire to support customers but with a business bias
